Notepad++ Unable to create directory for file C

Notepad++ gives following error while trying edit a remote file over FTP: Unable to create directory for file C

How to fix it to remotely edit .php etc files directly with npp ?

This happens under windows vista or windows7. Just create a directory like ftp_synchronizer under plug-ins and run npp as admin once.

thanks, that fixed it for me too in the latest version of NPP with the plugin added, v5.9.8
